About us

Northcott is one of the state’s leading service providers for people with a broad range of disabilities, supporting more than 11,400 people with disabilities, their families and carers across NSW and the ACT for over 80 years.

A broad range of programs is provided, from support in the initial diagnosis period and early intervention, through to early childhood development and assisting adults gain employment and independent living skills.

For people with disabilities, the support and services Northcott provides can often mean the difference between a life of isolation and segregation and a life of greater self-reliance and confidence. Support and services are not only directly provided to our clients, but their carers, siblings and the entire family.

As an independent not-for-profit organisation that receives some Government funding, Northcott relies on the generosity of individuals, organisations and community groups to continue to provide services to people with disabilities, particularly in programs where non-government or limited support is available.
