Northcott Early Childhood Autism Service (NECAS) offers therapy services to any family or individual with an Autism Spectrum (ASD) Disorder who decides to purchase these privately or through the use of the ‘Helping Children with Autism’ package. Please note: Northcott will be able to offer Medicare and Private Health Fund rebates in the near future.

The Commonwealth government’s ‘Helping Children with Autism’ package supports young children who have a diagnosis of an ASD. All eligible children up to the age of seven years have access to the early intervention funding regardless of whether or not they have commenced school. Through this package each family can access up to $12,000 in early intervention support, with an additional $2000 possibly available for families in remote areas.

Northcott is an approved provider on the ‘Early Intervention Service Provider Panel’, for children with autism and their families.

NECAS offers both Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology at the Northcott offices in North Parramatta and Campbelltown. NECAS can also provide home, school or pre-school visits within approximately 20km from each office. Northcott can also provide a Computer Assistive Technology assessment for children with ASD.
