18-year-old Samantha Pellaers, who is living with a disability, has designed one of Northcott Disability Services 2010 Christmas Cards.
Annually, Northcott Disability Services sells a range of Christmas Cards with all funds raised directed to support children and adults with a disability.
Samantha Pellaers, who designed one of the cards, drew the entire card by hand, taking her almost two whole days to complete.
The image on the card has a real Australian Christmas feel, featuring a gum tree dressed in Christmas lights and a koala saying “G’day. Merry Christmas.”
“I decided to call my card Christmas Gum tree,” Samantha said.
Samantha is currently supported by Northcott through its Transition to Work program. Northcott staff work alongside Samantha to help prepare her for the workforce.
Northcott Disability Services is selling her card along with four other Christmas Cards at a cost of $8.00 for a packet of ten.
