May Gibbs Gumnut Baby Badge Program
May Gibbs, an icon of Australian children’s literature and one of the country’s most loved artists and authors, continues to support children with disabilities years after her death.
In her will, May Gibbs left copyright of all her works to Northcott Disability Services and The Spastic Centre of NSW.
In 2007, Northcott launched a fundraising program called the Gumnut Baby Badges Program.
Two Series of badges have been released. The Gumnut Baby Badge and the Wattle Babies Badge.
We currently also have some May Gibbs themed embroidery disks and quilting panels available for purchase.
